Hi. Just got some rail buttons from loc precision, but I don't quite know how to install them. I have a cardboard tube V2, and the rail buttons seem to screw on as their only way of attachment. Is this strong enough to withstand launch? Do you epoxy them? Both? And what about a fiberglass/plastic tube like Public Missiles makes; will the rail buttons just screw into them? Don't quite get it, unfortunately. Help?

If the kit is already built, the best way to attach rail buttons is to install a wall expander (plastic) into the airframe, then put a screw through the button into the expander, just like you'd hang something on a wall. If the kit is not built, I like to put blind t-nuts inside the rocket airframe, and use a nut though the button, into the blind t-nut.
