A reminder that we have a launch coming up in a couple of weeks on August 16, a Sunday. We will need someone to tow the trailer to the sight and help setting up.
Start set up at 10:00. Don't know if WSR will be there, so plan on giving our equipment it's first go of the year. The battery is old, but should be ok for another season.
Bring hand sanitizer and masks.
Also water to keep hydrated.
The corn will be a bit higher than it was at the last launch.

Hi. Unfortunately, I have a conflict so I won't be able to come and move the trailer (or launch rockets). Regrets.

I will bring the Subaru and trailer hitch + hardware and be there at 1000.

John: any chance of working the launch site to where we were last time? I know it is inconvenient due to having to drive to the can, and no pavilion. I will bring an awning along for LCO/RSO use if we can do this. I have some hard work in three completed HP rockets and plan on flying all of them.

Will also bring a can of carb/brake cleaner and WD40 for rail and rod maintenance. Probably going to be rusty after storage.

May also take LVL2 test after successful L1 cert and blast the glassed Mini-Magg on a "J"

Loss rate was near/at 0 and damage upon landing rate very low, lots of grass and NO rocket-eating korn!

Cheers / Robert

Hi Robert,
It looks like the AMA has an event at site 3, which is the strip to the south of the pavilion where we normally fly. i think you guys were flying on the south side of the road earlier this year. i don't think we will be able to fly there with the RC event going on.

On a different note, i will be unable to attend this launch as I will be travelling to Bloomington on the 16th. I have several of the club's rails at home since they don't fit in the trailer. I can bring them up to the AMA on the 15th if someone can meet me there to collect them. Hope to see you all in September.

i have sent an email to Dave Combs and Lee Berry to see they are available August 16th

What will we need are people to help run the launch.

ROCI members or rocketers that consider ROCI/AMA their home field need to step up and RUN the majority of the launch. ROCI is very lucky to.have WSR to lean on and keep us moving forward.

I'm not a big fan of talking on a loud speaker but will do it with a smile :)

that is my 2 cents worth of opinion
