I am going up to collect the battery today and put it on charge. If anybody has already grabbed it, please let me know. Hope to see you all in a couple of weeks.

Ok.. 6 days to our first launch. To date, the only response/interest/anything to this launch has been from Chris, Larry and Kylie.

To conduct this launch we are going to need:
Someone who can bring the trailer to the launch sight from where it is stored at the AMA.

Someone to help set up the launch. Our launch equipment has been setting all winter and will need some cleaning up for good
electrical contact and smooth rail functioning.

Someone to help run the launch.

Someone to help tear down the equipment

Someone to take the trailer back to storage

I cannot tow the trailer

Also, I don't anticipate a vendor at this launch as Lee's group is also launching next weekend.

If you are concerned with the supply of hand sanitizers and other supplies to aid in remaining germ free, please bring your own products, as the club does not have a supply of them.

The outlook weather report isn't tremendously bad, but its almost a week away and subject to change.

If anybody would like to do this launch and can help on the setup and tear down and operation of the launch, please step up now..
Thanks,

Will be there - the Subaru has a Class II trailer tongue but I have to be careful with weight limits as it is a unibody. We can probably make it work as long as weight on the ball is app. 150 pounds. If you can pick it up and put it on the trailer ball, we are good.

I still plan to be there. Not sure how much help I can be or how long I can stay.
I'm having sinus issues...
I'm bringing piston tube samples for those interested.

I will not be attending the launch. I have, however returned the battery and charger to the trailer. When i first plugged the charger in and hooked up the battery, the charger said the battery was charged. pretty good for setting all winter. I did not have a load tester to check out how it is really doing.

I have a 20AH motorcycle battery, and will bring just in case. May also set up my big Estes PVC tripod and launcher (if OK) it would take care of anything standard Estes/Quest (1/8" 3/16" and 1/4"). Maybe less setup / breakdown? On the 1/4" would need to be light since it is nowhere near as long as the big 1/4" out on the large stand.
Will Merlin Missiles be present? If not, making a Hobbytown run after work. If ya need Estes motors, let me know TODAY. I will purchase and we can work it out Saturday. Text me at 502-645-6966 and include name.
