Welcome to IndyRockets

This site was created as a resource for anyone interested in hobby rocketry in central Indiana.

This is also the source for information on the Rocketeers Of Central Indiana (ROCI), Section #625 of The National Association of Rocketry (NAR). Feel free to check here for information about ROCIs launch events. The launch events are conducted throughout the warmer months at the Academy of Model Aeronautics' Headquarters and Aeromodeling Center in Muncie, Indiana. This facility is the finest flying field in the state and ROCI is proud to be the exclusive host of the rocketry events held there. ROCI is not currently conducting meetings as we have lost our meeting place.

Hi Tim,
If you could bring your controller and batteries, that would be great. We have been using WSR's controller(which I thank them for) but I am not sure if they will be bringing it this tine or not. The one battery we have is not in very good shape.
Thanks,

Hi James,
I am not sure what size hitch the trailer has. Allan might know.
Thanks,

It's a 2" ball. I've always brought my own and it works OK. The trailer has it's own safety 'chains' that are attached. You just need to hook them onto your vehicle. There is a 4 wire light hookup, but I've never used that since it's just towed a little distance on the AMA site.

John, will do. Tim Sovine will bring our controller and batteries on Saturday, and I’ll bring them on Sunday.

Luke and I plan to attend on Saturday and we can help with setup. Maybe Sunday if we get our kitchen pass approved.

On another note...
Luke is planning to perform his Junior HPR certifaction test and flight. Can somebody with access to the Junior HPR test please bring for him to complete? We will have his application paperwork.
