This is also the source for information on the Rocketeers Of Central Indiana (ROCI), Section #625 of The National Association of Rocketry (NAR). Feel free to check here for information about ROCIs launch events. The launch events are conducted throughout the warmer months at the Academy of Model Aeronautics' Headquarters and Aeromodeling Center in Muncie, Indiana. This facility is the finest flying field in the state and ROCI is proud to be the exclusive host of the rocketry events held there. ROCI is not currently conducting meetings as we have lost our meeting place.

My daughter, Keira, and I are planning to be out there, though I doubt we'll be able to get there for setup. And we may not stay long as Saturday is her birthday, and she's trying to convince her mom to let her have some friends over. I was a little surprised she wanted to go to the launch because of that.

I'm working on a couple different sizes of the Mosquito, but I don't know if they'll be ready by Saturday. Definitely won't be painted.

Hi Dennis,
Glad you can make it back after a long hiatus. Stay as long or short as you like and don't worry about paint.

Launch is on for tomorrow.. Set up at 10. Launch at 11. Covid restictions in place. Masks at the LSO/RSO table and at the pads. Wind is from the east/east south east near 10, so we need to pay attention to keeping away from the wires.Hope to see everybody there!I have level 2 and jr level 1 tests for anyone who needs to take one.

First launch of the year under our belts and it was a great time!
36 rockets launched including 2 two stagers.
Robert had 10 launches to lead the pack by quite a few.
Launched the following:
1/2A 2
A 3
B 1
C 7
D 5
E 3
F 4
G 8
H 2
I 2
J 1

Some notables:
TARC team that Robert is working with came out for their first test launch. Went well and gathered info to home in on the prize.
Mario brought out the new wireless launch control system which performed great at it's first operational use.
Allan test fired his two stage rocket, in single stage form, testing out the electronics

It was a nice sunny day with light to moderate winds and it was great to see everybody again, especially Dennis and his daughter Kiera and the famous Stegasoarus rocket

Hope to see you all again at our next launch on 17 April. There will be a zoom meeting on 14 April at 7PM prior to the launch.
