Welcome to IndyRockets

This site was created as a resource for anyone interested in hobby rocketry in central Indiana.

This is also the source for information on the Rocketeers Of Central Indiana (ROCI), Section #625 of The National Association of Rocketry (NAR). Feel free to check here for information about ROCIs launch events. The launch events are conducted throughout the warmer months at the Academy of Model Aeronautics' Headquarters and Aeromodeling Center in Muncie, Indiana. This facility is the finest flying field in the state and ROCI is proud to be the exclusive host of the rocketry events held there. ROCI is not currently conducting meetings as we have lost our meeting place.

Free Rocket Rack 1 week 5 days ago #3196

I recently removed this rocket rack from my trailer (the red one the club uses).  It is about 32inches wide, 5 feet long and 5 feet high.  Made from electrical conduit wrapped with pipe insulation, it is a first class rocket rack.  Could be mounted in a trailer again, or used free standing in a room.  Will support any rocket longer than 12 inches.  Surprisingly sturdy but lightweight--1 person can easily move it.  Has tabs on each leg for a #10 screw.  I screwed two outside legs to trailer floor, and used two pipe clamps on the wall--it was so solid I could shake the trailer with the rack.

Don't need it right now, so it's free to anyone who wants it.  I could bring it to Indy--I live west of Lebanon.  If nobody claims it, I'll send it to the scrap pile for recycling.
