Hi all,
Welcome to new and potential new members.
Here is some updated info on upcoming launches:
All launches will take place at Site 1 of the AMA in Muncie Indiana
Altitude limit for high power launches if 7000ft MSL which is about 6000 ft AGL
Largest motor allowed is a K
We have the following launch equipment:
Low power pads: 1/8 and 3/16 rods
Hi power pads: 1010 and 1515 rails, 1/4 and 1/2 rods
We have one heavy launch pad that can be set up up if someone will need it. Please let us know in advance.
All launches run on the following schedule, weather permitting:
Set up: 9AM
launch 10AM to 5PM
Tear down 5PM or whenever there are no more people who want to launch, whichever comes first.
Assistance in the set up and tear down phases is always appreciated
Upcoming dates:
6/7 May
10 June
19 August
23/24 September
14 October
11 November
There will be launch fees collected for the 6/7 May and 23/24 September launches: Club members $5 one day $8 both days Non club members $10 one day $15 both days. There are not launch fees if you are less than 18 years old.
Lee Berry of Merlin Missiles fame normally attends our launches and is our onsite motor/kit/rocketry accessory vendor and purveyor of wisdom.. He carries Aerotech, Quest and Estes motors.
Normally we try to have a Zoom meeting the Wednesday prior to a launch. Links will be posted.
Club dues are $20 per year if you would like to join our club. Club memberships is not required to launch with us.
We support Level 1 and Level 2 certification but not Level 3.

The November 11 launch has been moved to November 4 due to conflict with launch in Pence IN.
