Went down to Johnson County Park yesterday to work with the Boy Scouts on their rocketry event.
At least 6 patrols from Troup 174 were there and launched numerous rockets that they had built in the morning. Two of the adult leaders were able to complete their Level 1 certification.
Weather was dreary most of the day, but the rain held off until the end. Wind was favorable, as it was blowing along the long axis of the field for the most part.
Was a fun time that will be coming up again in 3 years, unless they have one of their other events cancelled in the mean time.

Sounds like a very productive day. Any of those folks coming to one of our launches?

I told them they were more than welcome to come to our launches. The son of the guy I deal with mostly expressed some interest in Jr Level 1 cert. For the younger kids, I would think AMOREA would be closer, as they are from around Indy for the most part, although I didn’t bring that up.
